Hummingbird 595c question

Post by konrad »

Is there a way to make my GPS/Fish finder compatible with my computer either by a chip or cord? I am scared something might happen to the unit and I will lose all my number. I have close to 300 waypoints and sitting in my boat hand writing all this down would take some time. If that’s my only option then that’s what I have to do but hoping for an easier way.

if your unit has a slot for an SD card.....just save all tracks/waypoints to the SD card and then transfer all the data to your PC...a lot of free software is available to import/export the data into differnt formats for viewing via the differnt mapping software put out by the major GPS companies

I have two Navionics chips for the unit but the instruction say not to put them in a computer. I will see if I can find one on the web that is compatible.
