5-25 Qucik Trip

Post by Rainman »

Made it out after work for a couple hours. Again bait was a little tough to come by but we did manage a dozen pins and four or five mullet. Managed to lose a nice cobia, we think he broke us on some rocks. Pulled in a decent size tiger shark. And right at sunset we hooked into a big fish. Pulled up anchor and gave chase, this is with a shimano thunnis 12000 series reel with 80lb braid! Got close enough to see the back of a BIG cobia, he dove down and snap he's gone... Till the next time.

jealous of the big fish, man! Keep up the slaying. cobes and tigers are thick right now
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
