1998 Cape Horn 24- SOLD

Post by Bottomtime »

1998 Cape Horn 24 (24’10” LOA), 2005 Yamaha 250HPDI outboard, 2009 Seahawk Aluminum Trailer $20,000

Electronics include Garmin 2010 Chartplotter, Furuno 600L Bottom Machine, Furuno 1620, 16 nm Radar, Furuno GP 35 Differential GPS, Apelco 6400 Loran/GPS unit, Standard Horizon Intrepid DSC capable VHF radio, AM/FM/MP3/Sirius satellite radio (no subscription) and a Northstar fuel management system.

Features: T-Top with rear ladder bars to leaning post, 4- rocket launcher rod holders, 6 leaning post mounted rod holders, 4- gunwale mounted rod holders, 2- transom mounted rod holders and 3- under-gunwale rod holders. Adjustable/ folding dive tank holders for 10 tanks + 2 additional holders inside console, 4-slot spear gun rack on transom (can be slid out of rails for easy removal); splashwell mounted drink cooler, 3-step dive ladder; transom mounted livewell, large forward fish box and anchor box, bow mounted-bimini top, T-Pack overhead life jacket storage, Cannon Easi-troll manual downrigger, hydraulic trim tabs, spreader light, console interior light, bow pulpit w/ roller, dual starting batteries w/ 3 position switch, a 3rd dedicated house battery in console for electronics- connected to charging system with an isolator, Guest onboard battery charger, Sea Star hydraulic steering, raw water washdown.

Included accessories: life jackets, galvanized anchor & rode, two gaffs, spare prop, dock lines, bait knife/ pliers holder, fire extinguisher.

Outboard motor is a Yamaha Z250TURD, 250HP HPDI that was installed in August of 2005, although unsure of actual hours, I feel VERY confident they are under 200. Currently running a 4 blade, 17 pitch Revolution 4 prop, but has a spare 16 pitch prop for emergency use. Water pump & thermostats were replaced mid 2010, and boat has been ran 3 trips since. Freshwater flushed after every outing.

The Seahawk trailer was purchased in July of 2009 and has less than 500 miles on it (150 of those were pulling it back empty from Ocala after purchasing it). It is rated for 10,000 pounds, has torsion axles and ST225/75/D15 tires on Galvanized rims. The trailer has NO brakes, as that is how I ordered it. The axles have the mounting plates to add a surge brake system if desired. A simple 2 5/16 coupler was installed instead of a surge coupler. A new spare tire is also included.

This boat has been well maintained and cared for after every use and has been stored under a barn when not in use. Email me at tkrichards@wildblue.net for additional information or pictures.

I've been out on this boat with Travis. He has taken great care of it and it runs like a top. Someone will be getting a great ride with this one.

Spring is coming, and the boat is itching for some time on the water!!! I unfortuanatly can't seem to find any time to take her. She needs a good home- with someone that can let her do what she does best- catch fish.
