Been a little busy or I would have posted over the weekend! My friend and I had a great opening day on his farm. Birds were hammering on the roost, but after flydown they seemed to get tight lipped. We were setup at the edge of a field with a rolling slope about 80-100 yards in front of us. These 2 birds came in behind 6 hens and strutted all the way down the hill. They came in from the West so the sun was on them the entire time and it was one of the best sights I had ever witnessed! I was so zoned in on them I didn't even take pics, but it was amazing!

Awesome. I have killed and called in birds, but never been in on a double. Had 4 toms in front of me one day, and was by myself. Called in 2 last year and was alone. Can only kill one per person per day here in FL. Quite an accomplishment above just killing an Old Tom. Way to go.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
