is that a Spinning rod that they paired that reel with??, and what kind of grips are on that rod? looks like a white EVA?

Looks like they just used higher framed guides but they look huge.
That's a cork grip & rubberized cork for the butt.

Nice looking combo though.

I think one of the group put it together wrong. I can still use them and the price was right. :lol:

yeah, i only watched a few seconds of the video, the light made the cork look white for a second. yeah can't beat free, but i would change that combo out to get the max performace out of that reel.
