2014 Big Bend Saltwater Classic (part II)

Post by mblambert »

Attention Anglers!

In addition to giving away over $75k in cash and prizes, including an 18' Carolina Skiff JVX powered by a Yamaha F70, the board of directors and Bass Pro Shops have put together another outstanding prize package, this time for a lucky angler in our Junior Division!

All youngsters registered in the Junior Division will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize package valued over $1000. This lucky angler will win a 10’ Ascend kayak, paddle, life vest, rod and reel combo, and well equipped tackle box. Everything this up and comer needs to get on the water!

I hope you'll join us at CJ's Wednesday night at 6 for drinks and dinner on us, or at the Moorings Thursday night for the Captains' Party!

See y'all at the weigh-in!

Official results are up now, JT. You might have to refresh the page.

Congrats to the winners. Some really nice fish were caught and money raised for a good cause to enhance local reef projects.

Whenever I see the leader board, though, I always wonder which tournament official decided years ago that a tropical species (cero mackerel) swims in our local waters.
