NFGFC End of Year Banquet

Hello everyone!

Its that time of year to get together for food, fun, and prizes. We are gathering again at the Lake Talquin State Park and fortunately for us the weather as of now seems to be nicer than last year. We have some good news for this years banquet and that is Lee Trailer Sales will be sponsoring our dinner, so we will not collect money for your food!! As always we will also have our raffle, which will include Yeti coolers (yes plural), Rod n reel combos, dip nets, cast nets, and many other items. We will also give out prizes and awards for the top 3 Angler of the Year, Lady Angler, Jr Angler. As well as prizes for the biggest red, trout, & flounder of the year. Thanks again to all of our sponsors throughout the year to make this all possible.

Here are some suggestions or thoughts that I have heard...

-Swap out a couple trout tournaments and make them a 2 redfish tourney instead of the 5 trout.

-Have another tournament in Steinhatchee.

-Have shotgun start tourney(s)

My wife and I had a great time at the NFGFC cook out. Thank you to all of you who went through the effort to put it all together. Especially Will and Tommy Thompson for the cooking and meal sponsorship.

Time to get the boat repairs wrapped up and get ready for next season.

Tina and I had a great time at the banquet. Thanks to all who were involved. We payed next years dues and are looking forward next years events in this great club.

We had a fabulous time at the event. Gavin winning jr angler made it even better, esp since he had no idea it was going to happen.
He got a SWEET set up for this coming year also!
