Mitzi has an issue

Post by Williamsdad »

Luc's busy at work, so i told him I'd post. He heard a knocking noise yesterday, he thought in the upper part of his 40 Yamaha. Shut it down and got back in with the trolling motor. Shield's had a 3 week waiting list. Initial diagnosis at Porter's is that it might be a piston. That's way beyond anything we've had experience with, thankfully.

Thoughts?

Buy a new one, fix the old one and keep it for a spare?
