Took my son and my daughters "special friend". He had not been fishing in 4 years. :0
Hit the water around 9 and headed to the mouth of East river. Water was 67 Degrees. Fished up into the river and caught a few nice rock bass. Found a school of trout and caught 15-20, but they were all dinks except for one 15.5 we kept. Left there and ran west to a creek mouth. First cast, 15.5" trout. Then we caught about 30 more dinks. Wind was ripping so we headed in at 1pm. Got almost a 1/2 gallon of filets out of these. 2 largest rock bass were 13".

Nice! I've caught quite a few rock bass out of St marks this year, but they were all short. Which is a shame, because they are one of my most favorite fish to eat. Great report!
NOAA reports are the reason I have trust issues.

Nicely done. That pelican in the background looks like he wants to steal his fish! lol.

Hey bbb,
Were you throwing artificials or live bait?
Went out on 10/28 with a grub and 1/4 oz jig with very little success.
Thanks
