What a weekend! I didn't lose power until the last line came through about 4PM and still without power. Got my gas stove on and cowboy coffee been a brewing. Thankful that all of my family is safe and that I suffered very little damage. So sorrowed by the folks killed in the Albany and Adel areas. These storms that come in the dark are the most dangerous. Fortunately, my cell phone weather alert went off and I was able to be prepared.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Was the Albany/Adel damage close to where the last bunch of storms came through a while back?

It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

WE HAD A KINDA ROUGH NIGHT SUN AND SUN. AFTERNOON. WE HAD SOME WINDS ABOUT 40 MPH, THE WORST THING WE HAD A TOTAL OF 9 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN. WE NOW HAVE SEVERAL NEW PONDS IN OUR SOD FIELDS, MOST OF THIS DRAINED AWAY BY TODAY, FRIDAY. HAD TO TAKE BABE OVER TO BAPTIST HOSP. IN JAX. MON. MORNING FOR SOME TEST, HARDLY ANY TRAFFIC AND THE WIND HAD DROPPED DOWN TO ABOUT 15-20 MPH ALL THE WAY TO JACKSONVILLE
