Post by Blue spinner »

Got away from the ramp at 7;30 each day had to pull a boat back to the ramp this morning before we could go out
worked shore line both mornings looking for red's got 1 22" yesterday we caught 2 puppy red's
today we could not get them to bit we could see them roll up on our bait but no takers
yesterday we fish to the east just short of the mailbox in 4' to 5' of water we got 3 keepers before we had to go in at 12:00 and walk the dogs
went back out at 4:00 and fished till 7:30 only got 2 keepers
today fished same spot and we caught 6 keeper trout 1- 22" 1- 21" 2- 19" 2-18" not as many 15" fish today as yesterday
back to ramp at 1:30 to walk the dogs did not go back out ,not going to fish tomorrow
got meet up with Country Corners today good to see you out
One thing about the speed of light it gets here too early in the morning

Glad you got some fish. Sounds like the bite has slowed a bit. We will be down fishing sat.

Wimpy little tides have the bite slowed down I think, but there are still fish to be caught.

0]IMG_20170418_133544.jpg[/attachment]I fished panacea Tues &Wednesday past. The bite had definitely slowed from the week before... But so had the tide.still caught some trout and a couple good reds.More bait fish started showing up. Saw some good size jacks busting bait. Hooked one.. That was enough
