Who sells trailer axles?

Post by Swampcreek »

I cannot find an axle in south ga that will match mine. measurements are 4' 4" on springs and 66 1/2 on hubs. 5 on 4 1/2 lugs

single axle trailer on an 80s model mor ark jon boat. 3500 pound axle.. I'd like to get the springs and all and be done with it.

Lee Trailer Sales. Give Will Thompson a call. 850-878-0788. He'll fix you up.

Call Connie Liles in Tallahassee. They will hook you up if you are doing the repair yourself.

Agreed! I used Lee Trailers a few years ago for a new axle. They were great, and I felt the price was very reasonable.

I called them, they can build me one for $400. My local welder can do that for less. I was hoping to find one already made that I can throw on there. Seems like I'm going to have to go the repaired route. I'd buy a new trailer before I spend half chasing an axle.

If your axle is broken and you are going to weld it, be careful. I've heard horror stories about welded ones breaking at the weld.

I ordered some axles from here: http://www.sturdybuiltonline.com/ and got great results, shipped to the house. Email them and they may have what you need.

I replaced both axles on my trailer several years ago and got by far the best price from this place:

https://www.championtrailers.com/

They are located in Slidell, LA just this side of New Orleans. They will build to your specs and ship to you or you can do what I did and pick it up on your way to a Louisiana marsh fishing trip!

Ordered one off of northern tools that was a complete kit. Still have to do some adjusting, I hope it works. I don't know why things cannot be simple.

Things can be simple, or fast, or cheap.....just not all at the same time.

Try Agri-supply in Tifton or Valdosta, lot of trailer parts reasonably priced. You can look online to get an idea of what they have and price.

This axle should work, spring set is adjustable from 49"- 54.5" with 67" hub faces. I bought these similar axles for my trailer, just larger
