And if anyone would like to go chase crappie - let me know. We're out of here in an hour or so.

On the Leon county side Lake Talquin bait and tackle.
On the Gadsden county side Whippoorwill or Ingrams marina. You can google either one for locations. Good luck.

Chased them Saturday and did pretty well

It is that time of year.

Kenfly and his son ended up taking me out on Talquin for the nickel tour. We chased bass around and never even really tried to find the specks. Lot's of likely looking cover though, I may be back and get after them at a later time.

Yeah was a good time out riding around for a lil bit, it’s got me thinking about going back and targeting the specks

Andrew and I fished Lake Talquin for nearly the first time last Saturday and only managed 3 bass. They ranged from about 1.5 lbs to 4 lbs.

How did you guys do on the bass?

We only got one around 1#, we were only out there for a couple of hours and did a lil riding around showing Geno a lil bit about the lake. Was a lil wildly also do to that front coming in Sunday afternoon, talked to a friend that went sat and didn’t do to good either, front may have messed it up a bit, always next time and go for a longer stay
