Talquin

Post by KayakMacGyver »

Does anyone happen to have a saved track for the channel on Lake Talquin that would be willing to share? As I understand it (please correct me if I’m wrong), the channel follows the county line demarcation, which gets quite squirrely. I’ve spent enough time on Talquin to know OF the hazards and have hit a few. As such, I’ve never felt comfortable running very much out there.
I’ll be doing some alligator hunting out there in a few weeks and would like to cover some water during daylight hours. I’d really like to have a good starting point for reference to follow as a channel.
Have some gator tail with your name on it for whomever is willing to share a track OR point me in the direction of a .kml file that follows the county line.

Thanks in advance!

The Navionics app shows the channel thru the lake. I'll be happy to try and export that track, but you'd be better served to just pay the $10 for the app and use it as you go thru the lake.

Gator meat still for that cherry piece of advice?
