PENN® Expands its Spinning Product Line Up, Providing Quality and Value to Anglers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (August 8, 2019) – Iconic fishing and tackle brand, PENN® will debut eight new spinning products for 2019, making saltwater fishing more accessible than ever. The PENN spinning expansion ensures that anglers of all levels can count on quality PENN rods and reels.

At any price point, PENN provides best-in-class durability and a superior fishing experience. Several PENN favorites receive thoughtful upgrades for 2019, including Machined EVA handle knobs, and Winn® grips for added comfort and color.

“We are excited to offer anglers wider offerings of PENN spinning products at a wider price point,” said Mike Rice, director of brand development at PENN. “The new PENN offerings make saltwater fishing more accessible to anglers of all skill levels. We’re adding an entry level series, as well as filling gaps in the lineup, while making sure anglers of all levels enjoy the durability and quality of PENN products.”

The new Wrath series offers reels and combos at an entry level price point, so anglers can experience the durability PENN has to offer. Everything is like that now. Media, Telco, Manufacturing, even TV stations.

I have a couple of Penn battle 2's and a couple of Shimano Sedonas. The shimano's have a smoother retrieve the penns are crisper when closing the bail. Drags seem equal, bnoth will do until I pick up a Stradic :D
