St. Marks

Has anybody fished up the St. Marks lately? Wondered how it's been. I like to fish above Sheild's this time of year and haven't been yet.

Yup. Big trout are there. Go have a blast.

Went today and caught a lot of fish, mostly just-short ones. Ended up keeping 4 trout to 19'', a big whiting, and a white trout so I had a good mess of fish. Those short trout seemed to be everywhere, mostly right above the landing. Fun day for sure! :smt004

Kenfly, that would be perfect for kids to fish. I caught one on just about every cast, and they bit just about anything you put out there. Green seemed to work best, with shrimp.
