Fished out of Carrabelle Friday evening through Sunday. Fished Dog Island flats, Dog Island reef, Lanark Reef and some of the bayous in Carrabelle.

Water temps varied from 74-80 degrees and the water was stained but cleared the farther East you went.

We had constant trout bite from 3-5 of water in various places. Picked up some Spanish mackerel and blues. Caught a pompano on the flats along with a flounder and red.

All fish were caught on artificial bait. We gave all our fish to the folks fishing from the banks in Carrabelle, figured they needed it more than us.

Stay safe!

Spent the weekend between the east side of piney - goose creek; Trout, Spanish, and Bluefish. And that’s just goofing around with the fam, (they like to chill out; not chase fish) drifting with the wind.

We fished East for the last few days. Trout limits shouldnt be tough. We caught a few on topwater too despite the winds. All on artificial and lost several jig heads due to spanish and blues.

Flats reports???

Spent most the day out, Spanish and trout, drifting around shell point with the family. Water was nice this morning slick and fun, watched two gentlemen catch a nice mud donkey by the first marker.

Launched from Rock Landing this morning before this newest wave of weekend warriors got up, calm enough to open the skiff up and let her stretch. Caught trout, reds, and one poor mans tarpon.

Came in to see a wild pack of kids hanging off the docks and mechanic work being done at the ramp while a pack of boats waited to trailer. Going to have to get back to letting folks have the ramps on the weekends; and sore mouth the fish Monday-Friday! ;)

Hope everyone’s Sunday and upcoming week goes well.

tight lines; God bless

Fished both days this weekend, and really struggled. Fished both west and east flats with a variety of baits and got a few fish, but not many.

Tried offshore today before the wind picked up and saw no bait or activity.

Water was gin clear east, and silty on the west. Temps both days around 76 to 77.

Fished yesterday, took a good friend of mine, his pops, and brother, out for their first coastal adventure in our region.
They were just looking for a good time of exploring and catching a variety of fish.
I rarely have 4 people on the KetchupPacket, but it was easily fishable.

Got on the water around 745 from the Fort, super casual. Back at 330, no traffic or wait times.

Being their first time fishing, we split our time between a variety of artificials and shrimp, both worked equally well.

Fished from 8' during a slack, all the way to the shoreline.

> 3 limits of trout, to 20", kept half
> 8 Redfish, to 22", kept 2
> 15 Seabass, to 13", no jombos, kept a few
> 5 Spaniards, to 16" @ fork, kept 3
> 1 Flounder, shorty, released.
...and then two snotheads and a Stevie Ray

They had a hell of a time and I had probably even more fun seeing them catch fish like this for the first time.
I love showcasing our coast and sharing my passion.

Fished Saturday, caught about 30+ trout, 6 keepers. Fished from 9:30-2:00. The Fort ramp was fine except the pontoon boat parked in the ramp when I was backing my trailer in to load my boat. I seriously had to honk for them to move their boat.
