No More Fishing Reports...
At least not any time soon.
I'm moving to North Carolina, and I'll be a solid 4 hour drive to the coast. We'll have some good freshwater fishing in the area, Lake Rhodiss, Lake Hickory, and Lake Norman are all within a 30 minute drive, but I'll miss the power, variety, and complexity of saltwater fishing.
Thanks to everyone over the last few years who has given me tips, ideas, and suggestions, they were all much appreciated. Special shout outs to Fishin Chris and SilverKing for boating and fishing advice...
I hope to be back in the area sometime in the future, and maybe I'll occasionally bore you with a report from the Bahamas.
Tight lines everyone!

Can't quite picture you with a chaw of Red Man and a metal flake bass boat.
That's some pretty country up there and great opportunities for finesse trout fishing in the mountains, along with panfish and largemouths in the lakes and rivers. Weekend jaunts to the coast will also be fun for reds, flounder, stripers and albies.
Best wishes to you and the family on the next chapter! Thanks for contributing so generously to this forum but don't be a stranger.

Good luck with the move, you can't let a little distance stop the reports, I still managed a few flats reports from Missouri

Always enjoyed reading your posts. Good luck !
Re: No More Fishing Reports...
I'm going to miss your fishing reports too. You posted more reports where you didn't catch squat than anyone on here ever.
I appluad your honesty and dogged determination to learn the area and catch some fish. Good luck in your new ventures.
