Went out with a couple of friends this past saturday. Headed 14 miles out to first stop. All we had for bait was: LY'S, squid, left over shrimp, cigar minows. First stop, tried an LY. About an hour later, landed a 31" & 15lb grouper. Stayed there a little bit longer then headed out to K-Tower. Tried an LY there with no luck. Then I tried a shrimp. Got another hit and landed a Amberjack that was also 31" & 15lbs.. Caught about a dozen and a half amberjacks on shrimp that afternoon which produced another amberjack bigger then the one I caught. All the throw backs where about a couple inches too short. Got home had a few and fell Not bad for my first keeper amberjack and my biggest grouper so far. If I e-mail someone a picture of these two fish, can you post them on here for me.
Took other picture's just in case someone did that . Even caught a couple on my inshore fishing pole. Had it bent like the letter U. Can't wait to catch another amberjack now. Was using 20lb power pro on inshore pole.
