Motor Guide Trolling Motor

Post by Steve Stinson »

I have a Motorguide bow mount, hand control, 70 lb thrust, 24 volt trolling motor in the corner of my garage if anybody needs one.

Here's the deal -
It came new on my boat in 2000. I ran it fine for a year or more, then had a problem with a couple of the switches inside the head of the motor. I went to Panama City, purchased the switches and ran it for another year or so. Then the batteries went bad.

No more than I used the motor, with the expense and reliability problems continuing, I removed it from the front of the boat. It did work when I took it off.

If anybody wants it for their boat or for parts, make me an offer. I need to get it out of my garage.

Thanks -

Bman - I tried to email you from the address on your real estate website, but could not get the message to go through.
