Had to pick someone up at the Airport yesterday. On the way there at an intersection theres was "Stink Road" written in a fence with styrofoam cups. Behind it was a spray painted sign that said "Free Smells". What gives? Someone's protesting something. Just curious cuz here in Brooks Co. we have a heated issue over a landfill proposal.

The actual name is Gum Road but at this point Stink Road is more accurate. There is a garbage transfer station there where domestic waste is consolidated and sent in bigger trucks to a landfill in Jackson County.
When it was first approved a few years ago neighbors litigated to no avail.
