Where else can we legally drive or hike to up this river? There appears to be a James Rd that's county maintained that goes to the river, with the last stretch being the reamains of the power line trail according to Google Maps. You go just past the upper bridge, take a left on a Tiger Hammock Rd, then a left on James Rd that goes to the river.
I haven't explained my new boat situation lol because poormouthing isn't something I do but surely the thought when it comes to the Wakulla is "why don't you just put the boat in and go" right. You probably forgot that my gheenoe that I have the small motor on needs a new transom ever since the disaster in rock country on the Aucilla at the end of summer. Since it was the end of summer I just let it sit all winter. Then the pandemic happened so I haven't worked since April, so boat repairs are out. I still have my farming but no steady paycheck so no starving over here but no boar repairs or toys either. Meanwhile everywhere else I always go in my paddle boat is flooded and blacked out. And the Pinhook trip is out since the Flint Rock WMA has apparently cracked down on their rules.
