It was a tough morning. Soon after daylight the water churned up like a washing machine. Probably 2 ft. or less, but no fun in my little boat. Went to 20 feet of water and threw a plug out. Hooked up the first pass. A goodun. Buried me in the bottom and broke the leader. It went downhill after that. Caught five 20" and 21" gags, 8 seabass, and 742 (approximation) lizard fish. I did not land a keeper. BUT, the sunrise was beautiful. It painted the clouds on the horizon a bright orange. Even with no keepers in the boat, it beats the heck outa workin.
What was I supposed to do today?
