Gorilla Bread

Post by GIT-R-WET »

This is very :lick: :lick: :lick:

Gorilla Bread

Ingredients:
 2 cans biscuits (I like the Hungry Jack Butter Tasting Flaky Biscuits)
 1 8oz package of cream cheese
 1 1/4 sticks butter
 1/2 cup sugar
 3 teaspoons cinnamon
 1 cup brown sugar
 1 cup pecans or walnuts

1. Spray pan with cooking spray.
2. Use one can of 10 biscuits to layer the bottom of a pan (9X13 size is what I use). Split each biscuit in half, so that they cover the entire bottom of pan.
3. Melt 1/2 or more of the 8oz package of cream cheese along with 1/4 stick of butter for about 30 - 45 seconds in the microwave (just enough to soften it for stirring). Blend well.
4. Spread over bottom layer of biscuits.
5. Combine 1/2 cup of sugar with 3 teaspoons of cinnamon. Blend well.
6. Sprinkle over bottom layer of biscuits.
7. Use the 2nd can of biscuits. Split each in half and cover the bottom layer of biscuits.
8. On the stove top, melt 1 cup of brown sugar with 1 stick of butter for about 2 - 3 minutes stirring constantly. Needs to be melted until it's a thick brown liquid and butter is blended well.
9. Spoon or pour over the biscuits.
10. Chop 1 cup of pecans or walnuts.
11. Sprinkle over biscuits.
12. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
