Started fishing Friday after the rain passed around 3:00. Fished West towards the Aucilla caught 5 keeper trout and nothing else. Saturday fished all day and caught 2 keepers. It basically sucked. Seven keepers and a long ride back to Macon, Ga.
Saturday was a slow day. First day after a cold front. The water temp dropped 7 to 7 degrees. Sunday was better. Give it a couple more weeks, Hooked. It'll get much better.
Hooked, everyone will tell you different, because we all fish a favorite type water. River temp is going to be different than bay temp, and clear water fishing temp will be different than dark water. I fish mostly clear water, and I like it between 75 and 85 degrees.
As a rule, I consider any temp above 74 to be good for fishin, around 80 the best
