Chalk,
You meaning salt-water (non-fly fishing):
1. All kinds of fishing (realizing not all brands make all kinds of reels);
2. In-shore, flats;
3. In-shore, surf;
4. In-shore, bay, pier and bridge;
5. Off-shore, bottom fishing;
6. Off-shore, pelagic trolling;
7. Off-shore, pelagic casting;
8. Off-shore, pelagic trolling, stand-up;
9. Off-shore, pelagic, big game trolling, fighting-chair;
10.Chalk, flats wading w/free-lined rats caught mating w/PC-mouse?

I'll take it you mean, number 2., salt-water, in-shore ,spinning-reels.
Is that rat?
:-?

Chalk,
I already knew it would.
You bunch of junk reel, so-called, fishermen go for those cheap-azz
Shimano's, every since the cane-pole went out of style (by the way more gator trout have been caught on a cane pole and a silver minnow than any Shimano)!
And, didn't it ever occur to you, that your POLL would be, "Gamed" by ole Cran? He's voted for Shimano so many times his Shimano PC is beginning to tighten-up and his hard-drive is hanging down like a limp noodle! He was just about to email Shimano, U.K., when his modem went teets-up and his monitor got the, "blue screen of death!"
I thought about taking advantage of his crash-and-burn, but he's voted so many times already, I'd have to stay up all night! No, way. I already know I have the high ground on this. Besides you didn't even have my childhood favorite, Pfllueger, listed. Nevermind, it's made by Okuma, nowdays, who makes more reels than all the rest combined. But it's probably as much junk as Okuma's other product, Shimano!

WV,
I always considered us to be 2 of a kind.
I've always been noted for my shy, quite demeanor -- kinda like
Ken, on Valium!
All you South of Tallahassee dudes won't lighten-up and relax and associate with us in-town misfits.
Y'all won't even associate with those who live to the West, North and East
of T-town!
What goes?
ff30 wanted to lock-on to some all-you-can-eat Cajun food and 99 cent
long-necks and I was the only one that took him up on it!
What few said anything at all, said stuff, like:
Food there is too hot.
Food there is too cold.
Or, food there tastes like my old lady's cooking.
Oh, and I mostly like to just let others do the fighting, while I listen and
watch them work off their frustrations and become level headed,
like me.
Like Pat McGriff, I fish with my wits! Just wish I caught as many fish
as he does.
:wink:

Do you have a thinly veiled hostility going here, dude?
I'm getting that feeling from TC's response for you to go ahead
and say what's on yer mind and I'm sure you two can pick up
on each other's innuendo.
He's disappointed in you -- just what are you holding back?
I picked-up on the, "nonstop BS" and, "true Bullshitter" comments
and have some doubt about your intent.
On this thread, only Chalk and I had any personal chatter going,
until you said you had to meet me to verify my bullshit abilities.
The smiley faces, thumbs-up and beers could have been meant to
show you were kidding -- but they could just as well have been
what my first sentence asked about.
I'm not trying to make a Federal case out of this, but TC's remark
got me to thinking you were maybe just a little too friendly, since
you've never said squat to me about either my B.S. or, "pertinent info"
before.
If my chit pizzes you off, let me know. I got tough hide and enough
sense to yield to someone who's got a problem with my chit!
