Ochlockonee Bay 10/18

Fished inside the bridge. Nice weather, winds from the NE. Fished all day, plenty of short reds and trouts. Two trouts were keepers. Used live shrimp on the bottom and under a float.

Got back to the dock just before sunset and drew a line in the water. In 10 minutes, I caught a 20" red followed by a 24" red. Not a bad way to end the day. :D

I live in the Sandy Springs area. We have a place on the bay and get down about every other weekend during the fall. Less during the rest of the year. Going back this weekend with my wife and no kids. Hope the fishing doesn't get in the way.

GT, I'm jealous! Sounds like a great weekend coming up. I may go down myself to spend Sun. on the Econfina with a good buddy as I'm supposed to be down in S. Ga. for Monday anyway. Enjoy!
By the what does the GT stand for, Ga. Tech?

Sounds like fun GT. When you said back at the dock you caught Reds, was that a private dock, or public?
