Got to the lighthouse at 8 AM. Not enough water to put the boat in(17'). Never seen it that low. Waited an hour, still no water. Went to the fort and put in no problem. Tried the flats first, very shallow, drifted to 5' of water - 1 trout 14.5", several lizard fish, many under sized blues, one very large rock bass.
VERY VERY WINDY out of the NE, and on the coolish side.
Went to east river bars. Still windy and overcast. Fished everywhere with grubs, grubs and shrinp under a CT. One large croaker, one crab, no pins, no catfish. If your gonna do this night stuff fellas, make sure you have water at the lighthouse, and not nearly the wind we had today.
