Bait Fish

Post by PinFishKing »

Weather and Seas permitting, we plan on coming down this weekend to try and catch some grouper. Our problem lately has been catching good bait. Has anybody been catching pinfish lately?

I put in at Carrabelle, so I cant help you with those places. But if you can find some ledges with grass or rocks around and fish sabikis tipped with squid you should pick up some pins or pigs. The last time I was down was a couple weeks ago and my father was doing just as good if not better with a single hook (long shank cricket #6 or 8)on the bottom. Good luck! 8)
