Post by billystix »

my new custom rod partner( molly) nice girl.
wants billystix custom rods to give away a free matching spin reel with your choice of a custom billystix spin rod.
thats the deal just let billystix build you a custom billystix spin rod and you will recieve a brand new okuma matchimg reel with the rod, you will recieve all the custom goodies as usual, i will also build your rod with up grade guides being titaium guides that would normally kick the price up by $30.00 but now no price increase to up grade.
there will be a limit to the amt that i can offer at this deal, it would be a good chance to pick up a great spin outfit, rods can be built from 6ft to 7ft 6in. all powers med lit-medhvy- med- hvy- . just give me a shout to find out more.

You need to be more specific.....Jig fishing, live bait, topwater, flipping :o

I might be interested Billy in a 6'6, probably medium, something to throw light jigs (1/8-1/4 oz) or unweighted flukes, something with a good light tip and a have back bone. PLus it has to catch fish too

Send me a PM with an estimate...Thanks Chalk

Yeah, why you want one so short?

Personally, I'll never buy another rod under 7'.

Snatch pebble from my hand grasshopper......  Because most shorter rods are more accurate, than the longer ones (my experience anyhow and a few articles I have read)....I can't handle them long rods, I'm caucasian   Obvious you didn't pay attention to what I brought into your boat either..I carry 6'6", 6'11" (dam battery) & 7'6" (aka The Whip)

6 ft6 light rod ok to build

Post by billystix »

hi chalk
i too like a 7 ft or a 7ft6 rod, how ever you ca get a 6ft6 built to toss light lures no problem, you just cant walk into a rod store and pick up a 6ft6 and expect it to come off the counter to your specs, if you would like a 6ft6 with a nice light tip i can and will build you what you want, just give me a shout, empypockts@aol.com and we can talk it over.
thanks
