Any suggestions for keeping fish on yak without buying fancy bag or having to paddle back to car/cooler each time? I have Cobra Explorer. Thanks.

I use a soft sided cooler bag like this...

I found mine at a garage sale for $2 but it came from Sams
Throw a couple of frozen water bottles in and your GTG

Yep, some buy Costa Del Mars, but I buy my polarized sunglasses at Wally world. They both sink just as fast, or crush the same when you drive over them. That is if I do not just plain lose them somewhere.

Polar Bear Coolers are the way to go. Leak proof and sweatproof. You can buy the size you need for under 50 bucks. Kevin's carries them as well as SGO.

I'm cheap also, and buy the $10 Sam's version. I put 2-3 frozen 2-liter bottles of water in it and it last the whole day. If you use it every weekend, it will only last about a year and you will need to replace it. The vinyl outside will rot from the salt, sun and wear of fitting it into your milk crate. I also like the zip up pockets. It's where I keep my keys.

Perhaps someone who fishes every weekend can tell us: How long does the polarbear coolers last? Do you keep it in the sunlight?
It might be the cheaper option if you consider how long it last.

I appreciate all the input. Now, I just have to become a Sam's member....
