If you want seafood try The Catch . It can be a little loud at times but great food.if you prefer steaks and a little nicer, more quite atmosphere Henry Campbells Steakhouse.Neither one is cheap but the food is good.

Henry Campbells Steak House, The Catch, Austin's BBQ & Oyster Bar, Henry's Fine Edibles, Riverfront BBQ and the Harvest Moon are all excellent locally owned/operated restaurants. Take it from an Albany resident !

Go to the Catch, Mills. It is great. It is on Whispering Pines. The sign is hard to see. Call me if you want better directions.

So it looks like a toss up between the Catch and Henry's. We'll flip a coin unless someone can guarantee me the Steaks at Henry's are worth it.

I would go to the Catch and get shrimp and grits. Tell the owner Bo Henry that you are a friend of mine.

Blackbeard's is completely different atmosphere than Henry's and the Catch. Depends on what you are looking for -- all three are great. Is this with wife, with wife and kids, with friends, etc.?

My niece will be in town to play a soccer match and I thought we would go out to eat afterwards. I don't want to break out the tux to go eat but I also don't want saddle up to a feed trough with 350lb Albanians. Looking for the middle ground.

Henry Campbell's and the Catch are certainly not tux, but certainly more upscale than many other places in Albany. I do not believe you would be disappointed in Blackbeard's. Good luck to her on her soccer match.
