I have corresponded with some, but am mainly a lurker that reads to see how fishing is when I can sneek away to SGI for a little fishing with dad. I am greatful the board is staying active and to all of those whose friendship and mutual interst justified teh board. I look forward to meeting some of you and sharing more stories.

Tom, thanks for getting this thing started and building it to what it is. Sportsmen all over this area owe you a debt of gratitude. I am sure this will allow you to enjoy your family more. Jackson will be 21 before you can blink your eye, believe me.

I am sure Bman will keep it on a good steady course and keep up your standards, so this has worked out nicely.

oh great - does this mean we have to put on an old worn out hat and wear Crocs on our feet to access the site now?

Thanks Tom for raising this puppy. I think we've covered most everything over the years related to fishing, births, deaths, illnesses, winnings and losings,marriages/divorces, and of course, JT's preferences in his goat companions. It's been a great ride

You da man Bman!

Thanks for all your hard work Tom. Having watched over a hunting site for 5 years myself, I know what a headache you have had to contend with better than most.

I have only been around for a couple years, but enjoy keeping up to date on what is going on in the area. Our time in Carrabelle is limited and seem not to be in town when the past socials take place. Someday I hope to be in the are full time and will be more active then.

Really glad the site will continue.

I have been a member on a dozen or so forums and only post now on a couple. Too many of the large forums, have some jerks that want to just start trouble everytime you make a post.

Maybe you should implement an entrance exam for new members, that way we can weed out the weak ones. ;-)

Tom, this site you created has been a lifesaver for me. Lots of valuable information has passed across these pages. You're making the right decision. Kids are only kids once. You can't get those times back. When they are grown and on their own, then you'll get your life back to persue hobbies like this site. With that said, Bman, what about the social? :lick:

Thanks Tom -
If it weren't for this site and some other members, I would have....
...never become so addicted to fishing and boating.
....never caught and released soo many fish, (too many to count)
...never seen the sunrise from the deck of my boat.
...never navigated down or up the St. Marks and Wakulla at night
...never figured out how to go down the Aucillia without hitting every rock in the river.
...never would have had knee and shoulder surgery (thanks to the Aucilla)
...never met a more friendly family of fishermen and (fisher-women)
Thanks
