Kayak fishing in Cedar Key

Hey I am heading down to Cedar Key the last week of March. I will have my kayak, fly rod and my spinning rod. I was wondering if someone could help me out with some spots and what flies I can tie up and some bait I could use. I would like to target some reds, trout, and some sheepshead. I’m not picky I’m just happy to be getting out of Indiana for a week. Any help would be appreciated

FC Red Dot
Crimp
Rainy's Tsunami in cinnamon
Wakulla Wobblers or Dupre spoon flies

Cabelas
McFlea in tan or olive
Shrimp Cocktails

DOA 5.5 CAL jerk baits in new penny or Stark Naked with 4/0 weedless worm hook
DOA standard shrimp gold/glow or pink/silver flake
Aqua Dream Living 3/8-ounce pink or gold spoons
Chug Bugs in chartreuse/silver and/or Skitterwalks in black/silver and red/white

Forget the bait. You won't need it. Have fun and give us a report. Some good fishing down thataway.

I fish Cedar Key on a regular basis, try area around snake key on the gulf side. You might put in at the public ramp at #4 bridge and fish the inside ,the bridge itself can be a good sheepshead spot ,give me a call when you go ,I might be able to help you more with some current fishing reports, who knows ..... it might take a fishing trip to take care of it
