WTB Topsoil or Fill Dirt

Post by jwnoles »

Any of you know a good (cheap) place to buy topsoil or fill dirt. Preferably, local (North FL or S GA) in order to keep the business amongst our own. Would like it delivered if possible. I don't think I need a dump truck full, maybe around 6 to 10 yards. Thanks for any replies. JW

Do you know if they have a tractor to help with loading it or if you are on your own?

Might want to check with some swimming pool contractors. They usually have dirt to get rid of.

They do have a tractor and will help load if someone is available. Last time I went to try and get some they wouldn't let me cause I didn't have a green sticker on my truck saying I can use the landfill. But I know others who have got some and they didn't have a green sticker either.

Just depends who is there I guess. Their pile was gettin low about a month ago...not sure if they have brought more in or not.
