Stripers

Since I had a few a days to wait before I was Coastal, I was able to do some Striper fishing up here on my home lake of Lanier in Ga... Good day on the water and the bite is ON! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Very nice! Tried for them a few times when I lived up there but never got the hang of it.

The fish are slap full of eggs and headed to the back of the creeks to spawn. We caught fish on planer boards, freelines and down lines in the 25 to 30ft range. We were using Blue Backs for bait. We caught a couple on main lake humps just off the main channels.

Heck yeah they are.. When they hit you can bet at least 200ft of line is coming of the reel on the initial run.. :thumbup: :thumbup:
