Does anybody offer outboard motor extended warranties? If so, who.

If your askin about with a new motor, I saw a Merc commercial today that had three year, with an additional three years extended coverage. Or you could get three years and a six hundred dollar rebate. They call it there six for six or something like that.

If you're referring to new motors, stick with the manufacturers' extended warrantees. Anything else is no more than an insurance policy that will more than likely reimburse you after you pay for the repairs.

From some of the horror stories I have heard, they are Insurance policies that most likley will NOT reimburse you. It seems they will use any excuse or fine print to get out of paying your claim.

Dang, tin can, I thought I was the only one that heard those voices. :D :D :D
