We put in at around 2pm and immediately headed to Church cove to anchor in the deep water and fish open water. The sun was out and bright, and surface temps were in the low 80s. We parked 100ft off the edge of the shoreline watershield. We got no bites with 7 poles out for an hour and half so we picked up the anchor and re-outfitted for 1 pole, search and destroy mode. We fished Lake Miccosukee gator hole style and fished the edge of the pads/watershield/milfoil. We managed only a few bream but they were all between 9-10". At 6pm we picked up and ran back to the Crowder area and caught a few more bream, they were all caught on the edge of the pads. We only caught about 6-7 fish on the day and the fish didnt seem to be very active. Another slow day at Lake Jackson
