Gulf Reef Fish Angler License

I renewed my fishing license online yesterday, and was surprised to see a new item; Gulf Reef Fish Angler. I checked the box for it.

I read a little about it afterward. Where have i been?

I wonder how we feel about it?

Georgia has something like that too, aiming at making sure people not only know the rules but have an idea of fish identification. Apparently, there are many fish killed by people who don't know what they are catching??
