The river is pretty blown right now and there's a lot of water/debris moving through. After not so much as a bite, headed out towards the mouth/East River and picked up this nice red off an oyster bar using shrimp in the afternoon during the incoming tide. Only other fish was a pup red.

Nice one, at least you got out. I have bass fished some but not sure when I will make it to the coast.

Thanks, buddy. Went out again today in the afternoon to fish the incoming. The trout were plentiful at the mouth. Caught all on H&H Usual Suspects soft bait lure. The shrimp didn't draw a strike. This weather keeps it interesting!DixieReb wrote:Nice one, at least you got out. I have bass fished some but not sure when I will make it to the coast.

Thanks for the report-- I wondered how it would be after all this water!
