Ecofina 5-17-15 fishing report.

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

Fishing CPA, my son and I got to the ramp around 6:30 and headed out hopefully to catch some fish. Image. Had been going west the last few times so we decided to try east today. The water was 75degrees and dark(as usual). Not a whole lot of action. Image. But we did catch a few. Image. Image. Image. We hit lots of spots today with not much to show for it. So we did lots of this. https://vimeo.com/128086445. Image. Image. Wound up with 4 trout 16-18" and a nice BSB. Three of the trout came on live pinfish(we were finally able to catch some). Not as many trash fish today which was a plus. Nothing like a day on the water with family and friends.

It was tough fishing the last time we were there, back in April. You still did better than we did, not bad for an off-season. I don't understand the trout bite being so poor this year.

Yea nothing like last year we were catching a lot of trout and a few flounder every trip. But this year we have been three times with 2 trout, then 1 trout one flounder and the last one flounder and a few short trout what is up? :(

For there to not be much grass on the bottom there sure was a bunch of it on the top. Image. Image. I never get tired of seeing the tripod. I had to put a bunk on the trailer so my crew had to sit with the boat and wait on me. LolImage.
