Went down to check the boat. Even though it was dry docked on the trailer we need to go get it when a tropical storm is bearing down. Boat survived but obviously came up off trailer and settled off center. Tried to maybe back it in to readjust but public ramp is toast. See pics. Also Keaton Marina has been demoed. Public pier at Keaton is toast as well.

Hopefully the county can repair the public ramp soon. Does anyone have an update on the ramp on Dark Island?

Supposedly, after Steinatchee is cleaned up they will move North to Keaton, Dark and Cedar to fix ramps and clean canals..

Was in Keaton last Saturday and today working on house and the difference a week makes is amazing.Our house is on marina drive and last week the debris almost blocked the road getting down it .This week 95 % of debris were gone.Boats were in the canal cleaning up floating material.Talked to folks doing the demo at the marina and they said the county was hopping to get thee ramps back open by next weekend, dont hold me to this, but as fast as Taylor county is moving I would not surprised .there were about a dozen trailers in lot and saw boats out so they must be letting people use one ramp.Things are looking up Gonna get some fall fishing in yet
