It was a hot spot before the word got out

I've never fished there, but the plastic navy kept pretty tight lipped about it. I think it was an area people fished when it was cold. The only advice I can give is to go during the last few hours of the incoming tide and look for bait and mullet. The reds I've been catching are in full mode spring pattern and ready to chase it down. I'd search w a gold ald or Johnson spoon or a swim bait. But have some soft plastics and some plugs. I had some good wakes on my tw plug lately, but no takers. The swim bait and spoon have been getting it done for me. Good luck

I know Tucker Lake like the back of my hand. Still can't figure it out.

There's supposed to be a spring at one end of it with lily pads, but I haven't gotten around to checking it out there.

I went a few times this winter and went into Chaires Creek. I caught all my fish bouncing a glow cal shad on a 1/4 oz jighead. Small reds and a few legal trout

Place is bug city, I'll pass on it from now till if it ever gets cold again.

If I were to get myself on fish there again, I'd paddle straight out the 1.5 miles out Chaires Creek on an outgoing tide, fish the oyster bars incoming tide, and let the tide bring you back. That current is no joke when it's ripping out. There's for sure fish to catch at the oyster bars.

Also be out by 5:30 pm, word is they'll lock you in, I haven't stayed to test it.
