The Pass Panama City

Post by Boudreux »

I am headed to Panama City this weekend to fish. A buddy of mine told me to fish the East Bay because he's been catching the reds over there. I was reading a fishing report and it said that "The pass" is producing good fish. Do they mean the pass from St. Andrews bay to the gulf? Any other tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I wouldn't think so - the pass on a good is usually slammed with boats and jets ski's in and out and rough as hell. There are some jetties on the southern - gulf side I see folks fishing on certain times. Chalk knows that area, maybe he will chime in. Could also be worth cruising the beech for cobia if the winds are right.
