Hey BBF,

long time lurker, and finally decided to make an account. I have been out on the flats by boat a few times, leaving out of Mashes Sands boat ramp, but have yet to pull up anything other than trout, catfish, pinfish, and shark. I've looked at the map/gps and found a few good places, but I am searching for reds, drum, sheepies. I plan on hitting the water next Saturday, so any advice would be great! :D

I hear all the time that you can catch big drum under the bridge on big pieces of cutbait. One guy I know here has caught several.

I just thought about how much reds and drum like big crabs. Some cut blue crab might work if the cutbait doesn't.

The bridge will give up truly big black drum.

That being said, looking at your catch.....it sounds like you use alot of shrimp/gulp.
Nothing wrong with that.....but if you're tired of feeding catfish, pinfish, and sharks your money...... Pick up a topwater and a suspending jerkbait, and knock 90% of that bycatch down.
If you throw a topwater around enough Creek mouths.....you WILL catch a red, and it WILL be the best bite you ever had.
