I have a fusion stereo with jbl speakers on my center console express. When I turn up the volume it has more static than it did the first time I listened to it. Do you know what could be causing this ??

. How old are the speakers. Check the cones on them and see if deformed or cracked. If they are they need to be replaced.

Care to share your new career choice? Good luck with it, regardless, as well as the side jobs. Sounds like you could stay busy with the p/t electronics work.
