You have to keep them separate. They react with some plastics and other baits.

According to their website description, Zman plastics are indeed non-toxic, float to the top to facilitate retrieval, but no affirmation that they are biodegradable (unlike Gulp). Actually all salt water plastics are somewhat” biodegradable”, but many take decades or hundreds of years.
Insofar as plastic contamination is a major environmental threat- not a single once pristine beach worldwide has been spared- I would favor Gulp. Concerning this topic, does anyone have any trustworthy info on Zman?
