4-28 First trip to Keaton

My son and I went with a friend in his bay boat that is familiar with the area. Fished within 3-4 miles south of the ramp. We caught lots of short trout, only one keeper, which we released. We also caught a bunch of sea bass, a few Spanish, including one grown one that got off at boat and the usual stray lady fish. Everything came from either less than 3 ft., or 8-10 ft., nothing in between. All caught on artificials; zman, gulp and doa. On a side note, the ramp configuration makes for a cluster flop with even a small crowd. I'd hate to see it with a big crowd.

Good day on water. The problem at the ramp is . . It’s not the first boat in line that gets to load first. It’s supposed to be the first trailer in line.
