God knows it was getting so dry before the rains arrived I was praying for them... but forecast at moment is calling for so much, can't help but think scallops may well be impacted.

Seems like we get an annual flooding each year about this time and this year's looks like another doozy!

Fwiw the shrimpers are pulling up lots of scallops in Keaton.

They have a crane parked in the channel, they are starting work on rebuilding the pier just in time for scallop season. They are supposed to start next week and have a 5 month completion date.

They have a crane parked in the channel, they are starting work on rebuilding the pier just in time for scallop season. They are supposed to start next week and have a 5 month completion date.
. Definitely will clog up the works for sure.
