I don't go motoring way up the st marks or wakulla throwing a huge wake because I know that's kayak stomping ground.
Kayaks fishing the middle of a channel shouldn't expect anything as that's motorboat stomping ground but I come off plane when I encounter them in the river. If i'm in my big boat and anchored up I offer bug spray and coffee to anyone passing through
.
There's alot of water out there to share.
Also worth noting the fish are starting to migrate up river and even though you can legally run the river at speed I really think it should be no wake(St marks river from the fort to 98) from around now until march. Everyone is fishing the river in the winter.
